**Temporary USPS rate increase**

Starting April 26, 2026, USPS is raising prices by 8% on select shipping services to address rising transportation costs. The increase runs through January 17, 2027.

The following services will be affected:

  • Priority Mail Express
  • Priority Mail
  • USPS Ground Advantage
  • Parcel Select

Shipping & Competitive Services Price

Increases (Effective Jan. 18, 2026)

USPS filed new rates with the Postal Regulatory Commission that were approved by its Board of Governors. These affect major package and shipping products:

USPS

USPS Ground Advantage™: ~7.8% increase

Priority Mail®: ~6.6% increase

Priority Mail Express®: ~5.1% increase
