Pricing + Shipping Changes - September 2026

Things are changing at Caring For! 💚

As the cost of organic, natural, and high-quality materials continues to rise, some product prices are being adjusted to better reflect the actual cost of making our products.

At the same time, we’re introducing a new free shipping system!

Orders weighing up to 3.99 lbs will ship FREE - with no minimum purchase required.

Once an order reaches 4 lbs or more, shipping will be calculated and charged at checkout based on package weight.

This replaces our previous free shipping on orders over $100 policy. Most Caring For orders weigh less than 4 lbs, which means many customers will now qualify for free shipping without needing to reach a $100 minimum.

This new system will be tested for 6 months. During that time, I’ll be monitoring shipping costs, order sizes, and overall sustainability to see how well it works for both Caring For and our customers.

My goal is to continue using the quality materials I believe in while keeping Caring For sustainable, accessible, and here for the long haul. 💚

Custom Sewing Orders: Please Plan Ahead

If you have a custom sewing order in mind, please submit your request, finalize all details, and complete payment at least 2–3 months before you need the finished product in hand.

Custom orders require time for discussing details, ordering materials, possible pattern drafting, and sewing. I also keep a running list of orders that must be mapped out on my calendar alongside homeschooling my children, running my household, and completing regular shop orders.

The 2–3 month timeframe begins once all details are finalized and payment has been made. If you need something for a birthday, holiday, new baby, or special event, please reach out as early as possible!

Before selecting Subscribe & Save, please review the subscription agreement and cancellation policy shown directly on the product listing page.

Subscriptions are a long-term commitment and support small-batch production and advance preparation. Because inventory and batches are prepared ahead of time, subscriptions cannot be canceled, skipped, or changed until after two successful subscription payments have been completed following the initial setup transaction.

If you’re looking for a one-time purchase with a discount, please use an affiliate code instead of subscribing.

**Temporary USPS rate increase**

Starting April 26, 2026, USPS is raising prices by 8% on select shipping services to address rising transportation costs. The increase runs through January 17, 2027.

The following services will be affected:

  • Priority Mail Express
  • Priority Mail
  • USPS Ground Advantage
  • Parcel Select

Increases (Effective Jan. 18, 2026)

USPS filed new rates with the Postal Regulatory Commission that were approved by its Board of Governors. These affect major package and shipping products:

USPS Ground Advantage™: ~7.8% increase

Priority Mail®: ~6.6% increase

Priority Mail Express®: ~5.1% increase
