In the spring of 2025 we introduced a line of single herb tinctures. Most of them are not getting the love and attention they deserve, and because of that, some may need to be discontinued.

Single herbs are truly the backbone of traditional herbalism. They allow for targeted support, customization, and learning how one plant interacts with your body. But they also require steady, ongoing demand to justify the time, labor, and cost that goes into sourcing, extracting, bottling, and storing them.

Here’s what we currently offer, along with a little education on each. I’ll note which are staying and which may not be coming back in 2026.

Catnip Tincture Status: probably not restocking

Often thought of as “just for kids,” catnip is actually a gentle nervous system relaxant for all ages. It can support tension, restlessness, digestive upset tied to stress, and mild sleep difficulties. It’s especially useful for sensitive nervous systems and overstimulation.

Nettle Tincture Status: probably not restocking

Nettle is deeply nourishing and mineral-rich. It supports iron levels, overall vitality, allergies, kidney health, and long-term whole-body nourishment. This is one of those herbs that works best with consistent use over time, not quick fixes.

Dan Shen (Salvia miltiorrhiza) Tincture Status: probably not restocking

Dan Shen is traditionally used to support circulation, cardiovascular health, and healthy blood flow. It’s also valued for its calming effect on the nervous system and its role in long-term heart and vessel support. This is a more specialized herb that shines in specific protocols.

Yarrow Tincture Status: probably not restocking

Yarrow is a classic first-aid herb. It supports healthy inflammatory response, circulation, wound healing, fever regulation, and menstrual balance. It’s one of those “every home should have it” remedies, yet it often gets overlooked.

Cayenne Pepper Tincture Status: potentially restocking, but in very small (¼) batches

Cayenne supports circulation, digestion, metabolism, and nutrient absorption. It’s a powerful mover - great for cold hands and feet, sluggish digestion, and as a catalyst herb in blends. Because of its intensity, it’s typically used in very small amounts.

Chamomile Tincture Status: restocking

Chamomile is gentle, calming, and incredibly versatile. It supports digestion, nervous system regulation, sleep, inflammation, and emotional ease. It’s safe for most ages and stages of life and remains a staple in our apothecary.

Corn Silk Tincture Status: restocking

Corn silk is a soothing urinary and kidney-supportive herb. It’s often used for bladder irritation, urinary discomfort, and gentle detox support. This is a quiet, underappreciated herb that does important work behind the scenes.

I’m intentionally not sharing which ones may be leaving to create urgency buying everything at once. What actually helps a small business like mine is steady, regular support of the products you genuinely use and love. Consistent purchases over time tell me what’s worth keeping on the shelves far more clearly than a one-time rush.
